Jamail Johnson is the Lead Pastor of The Word Church in North Houston and Executive Director of the Fulfillment Project, a nonprofit organization that exists to provide resources, programs, and measures that support Houston’s disadvantaged youth and their families. He is also an author of 2 books and the founder and CEO of Increase ME, an organization designed to provide training and development to those seeking ways to effectively increase momentum in any facet of life.  He serves as a Mentor and Advisor to Entrepreneurs, Leaders, other Pastors, and Individuals, in multiple vocations, with a focus on amplifying their ability to excel.

 

Jamail has a strong commitment to strengthening communities and works with several organizations including the Greater Houston Frontiers Club, (PACA)Police And Clergy Alliance, Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston and serves on several boards advocating for transformation and social empowerment opportunities for individuals and families in underprivileged neighborhoods.

  

He has received many honors, features and accolades including being recognized by Mayor Sylvester Turner, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, Aldine I.S.D., ABC 13, Fox 26, The Houston Food Bank and as one of the 2018 Top 50 Black Professionals and Entrepreneurs of Texas. Most recently Jamail was honored with his own day in the City of Houston because of his countless acts of bravery, advocacy and unselfish contributions through word and deed.
