Nicaragua Water Distribution Project.

The UofH Student Chapter will provide a brief overview of their water distribution project, funding needs, and how they envision West U Rotary collaborating with them.  

Salam Habra is a senior majoring in Mechanical engineering and minoring in Mathematics at the University of Houston. Salam is currently the Pipeline Subgroup Lead for the EWB water distribution project and has been a member of EWB since 2020. She is an incoming intern at Hewlett-Packard for the thermal engineering team.

Ricardo Villarreal is a Sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Houston. Ricardo is an incoming summer intern at Baylor and UH College of Medicine overseeing the implementation of JAMP at UH. He has been a part of EWB for 2 semesters and took over as Project Lead Executive Assistant at the beginning of February 2023.

Gustavo Juarez is a junior studying Economics and Finance at UH. Concurrent with his curriculum, Gustavo is an E-5 (SGT) in the 1-133 FA of the TXARNG. Gustavo is a full-time intern at Weaver and an incoming summer analyst at Evercore. He has been the fundraising lead for the EWB water distribution project for one semester, and the event coordinator the semester prior.
