If you are looking for a service project, a day, or more, your choice, then talk to John Thornton about Second Servings. It's a day of fun with John Thornton, picking up excess food from places like Trader Joe's, Kroger, or Los Compas for Mexican snacks (and even Pinata's!) and delivering to The Women's Home, the Covenant, Star of Hope, or one of many shelters, low-cost housing, or food kitchens. Everyone is friendly and helpful. This service project is available Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to finishing anytime in the afternoon. Just depends on how much is picked up and delivered.
