It is time to prepare Veterans Care Packages

We are collecting every Thursday through March 10
The club is collecting items for care packages for veterans, primarily homeless veterans. Please bring the following items to our Thursday morning meetings:.
1. soap
2. deodorant
3. baby/body wipes
4. lip balm / Chap-stick
5. toothbrush, toothpaste
6. hair brush
7. nail clipper
8. disposable razor
9. lotion
10. feminine products (pads/tampons)
11. first aid kits; bandages, antibiotics, etc.
12. Zip Lock - style plastic bags (such bags have many multiple uses by the homeless; keeping the above items together, important documents kept dry, etc.)
13. Bottled water
14. Gift cards to food establishments ($5 to McDonalds, etc.)
15. Shoe boxes!
In addition, we need volunteers to stuff the care packages on March 15 at 9:15 am at Sheltering Arms. This will be a joint project with the Seniors served by Sheltering Arms.
