RI President Gary Huang recognizes long-time Rotarian Jim Moore

Yes we briefly mentioned this in the article about Rotary International President Gary Huang visiting out club, but the significance of Jim Moore’s 62 years of perfect attendance bears its own story. Jim joined Rotary in 1953. He was a long-time member of the Rotary Club of Santa Fe, New Mexico. For many years Jim would attend the West U club while visiting his daughter (and now Rotarian) Alice Moore - both joined the West U club when Jim retired to Houston.

Think about the fact that Jim’s beginning date of perfect attendance predates the birth of all but seven club presidents. Way to go Jim!
