West U Rotarians responded to community needs following Hurricane Ike's visit.
Grateful neighbors donated $400 to The Rotary Foundation as a way of saying thanks to Rotarian Randy Bullard who showed up with his chain saw to cut downed trees. Helpers spent several hours clearing debris.
West U Rotarians brought food donations to their meeting September 25. Those donations were delivered to the Christian Community Resource Center which has been feeding people since the storm.
Also on September 25, West U Rotarians donated $335 to Interfaith Ministries. Those funds will go to hurricane relief and refugee resettlement.
