Robert (Bob) J Gebhard

Bob is a retired Banker and a Rotarian. He served in the United States Navy and is a Viet Nam veteran. He has over 40 years of management experience and voluntary years of experience on the volunteer board of director positions. He spent 50 years in the banking industry.

Through his Rotary service, he has served in many leadership positions including Club President, and Rotary District 5890 Governor from 2013-2014. He received the Rotary International Service Above Self Award.

Last year Bob received the Houston Texas Community Quarterback Service Award as one of five finalists. Bob has dedicated my life to empowering, growing, and developing those around him to be better leaders and better human beings. His passion is leadership and helping others to find and realize their dreams through motivational speaking, coaching, and mentoring. He is an Executive Director for the John Maxwell Team.  His desire is to empower others regardless of their current conditions and circumstances to live their dreams and create abundance and prosperity.

Bob is a Military Veteran Peer Network Peer Facilitator helping veterans obtain the help they need. He is a Mentor for the Veterans Treatment Court, Houston, Texas. Bob also works with the Harris County Reentry program facilitating Leadership training inside Harris County Jail for the Stars and Stripes unit with 52 incarcerated Veterans. Bob is the co-founder of the Rotary Club of Greater Houston Veterans. It is the fastest-growing club in Rotary District 5890. This club started in July 2020 and has grown to over 40 members.

Bob belongs to the Vietnam Veterans of America in Baytown, American Legion in Pasadena, VFW, and DAV.
Bob has served other businesses, community, and humanitarian boards throughout his career, such as Helping a Hero, Pasadena Independent School District Education Foundation, Communities in Schools, and Pasadena Livestock
Show and Rodeo, and Poway Jaycees.
