Rescued Pets Movement
Rescued Pets Movement saves hundreds of animals from area shelters, often from the euthensia list. RPM has saved over 100,000 lives since 2013. They transport homeless pets from the over-populated South to areas of the country with a shortage of adoptable pets.
Lisa Garrison is the Director of Development at Rescued Pets Movement (RPM), where she leads fundraising, public relations, community outreach, marketing, and volunteer engagement. A lifelong animal lover whose journey shifted from shelter volunteering to full-time rescue work following a corporate career transition, Lisa firmly believes that "rescue work finds you". Driven by the sheer number of homeless pets in Houston, Lisa is dedicated to educating the public on the critical role of transport rescue, expanding RPM’s reach, and ensuring every animal gets the safe, loving future they deserve.
Lisa lives in Houston with her husband, Randy, and a vibrant full house of rescue pets—Dakota the dog, Ellie, Sunny, and Lucy the cats, and Cinnabun the bunny. In her free time, she loves traveling, spending time in nature, spoiling her animals, eating pizza, and drinking cava.
