On Sunday, May 17, 2020, West U residents celebrated all graduating high school students who are residents of West U. All schools, Bellaire, Lamar, St. John's, Episcopal, St. Agnes, Strake Jesuit, etc. The West U Rotary Club lined University Blvd. and Edloe St. with US and Texas flags and the neighborhood cheered them on.
Congratulations from West U Rotary Club to ALL students, and we wish you the very best for your future.
Thank you to all who put in a few dollars as a donation to our club, and the proceeds will go to the Lamar FFA program whose on-line auction was not as robust as a live auction would have been. The FFA program is a scholarship to help with college expenses.
